I had this idea for a fake 3D renderer which is based around drawing scales images to represent a 3D enviroment. The math behind this method is extremely simple, performance wise it's terrible but I love the looks of it.

Using some very basic tools you can create your own world in this simple world editor, save it, and even share it with your friends using high-tech JSON-serialization-copy-all-the-data-and-put-it-where-you-want-technology!

This 3D effect of this test game, It's also used in SNES games. (Examples: Super Mario Kart, F-Zero, StarFox, etc.)

It is similar to some extend, it's basically just parallax scrolling on steroids
